
A SHADE FOR ALL
As a shoe fanatic and lover of sustainable design, I wanted to create an advertorial spread for a small but mighty brand – one that had a powerful, inclusive mission.
Meet Kahmune, a luxury line offering an array of footwear styles designed to match the skin tones of ALL women.
I was inspired by the rich and playful ad campaigns of European brands like KENZO and wanted to create content that was elevated by feats of photo editing and prop-styling magic.



To do that, we assigned personas to the top five shades of footwear. Each scene was set with many layers of clues and visual prompts. We wanted the viewer to contemplate *who* were we representing…and could they see themselves in there too? Good content can create subtle connections.
